My Digital Learning Philosophy

  Learning is like students, always growing and improving. Just as we learn and grow, we also must expand and modify our way of teaching for future students. As time moves on, technology is getting more and more integrated in our everyday lives. Nowadays, wherever we look, there is a child with some type of electronic device in their hand. Technology is becoming more important as we speak. The incorporation of technology allows students to absorb what they have learned with much more ease. A simple lesson plan using technology can be assigned and used for students in a creative eye-catching way. As a teacher, finding a way to grab students’ attention is key to creating a great class and educating students. After a hard week of working, I believe ending it with a fun activity will allow students to unwind their minds a bit. Technology Lesson Reflection

I chose to use Google Classroom to create a Learning Management System or LMS. I was so lost since this is my first LMS I have ever created, and I know I can always improve with time and practice. I used my lesson plan as the body of my LMS and incorporated four C’s which are to communicate, collaborate, create, and critical thinking. I used YouTube videos and had friends’ advice to help me. This has been an eye opening of how technology is an important part of teaching and to not feel scared to mess up. I can consider this a fun and learning experience. I loved going through different apps to try to incorporate them in to grab my future student’s attention. Before creating an LMS create a lesson plan to always fall back on, this will be very beneficial. I enjoyed making a banner using Canva, it is free and easy to use. I decided to use an introduction video for my students using Wevideo with some class rules. Even if we can’ t meet in person students need rules and regulations, this
